After 25 years of building, securing, and maintaining corporate IT environments, I understood systems. But in 2022, the corporate system I relied on for my security was outsourced. Redundancy wasn't just a loss of income: it was a structural failure in my career architecture.

The realisation was immediate: relying on a single corporate entity for stability is a single point of failure. Senior operators and technical leaders are trained to build redundancy into every network, yet we rarely apply the same principle to our own livelihoods.

I didn't need motivation or a mindset coach. I needed a structural fallback. That necessity drove the creation of a "Plan B", a structured, practical framework for senior operators and technical leaders to build independent digital income without compromising their primary careers.
